Ms. Angel Yao

Ms. Angel started her ballet training at the age of 10 at the world famous Shanghai Dance School, which accepts less than 5% out of thousands of applications. She was a class mate of Ms. Yan for 7 years at the school. After graduating, Ms. Angel was accepted on a government scholarship to study at LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts in Singapore, graduating with a Diploma in Dance. Ms. Angel has taught ballet and modern dance since then.

Ms. Angel has been teaching at Yan Ballet Academy since our inception. Ms. Angel’s soloists and teams have gone on to win many prestigious awards, both locally and internationally. Some recent highlights are receiving 1st Place & Best Choreography Award in the International Ballet Competition SPERA, Germany; 1st Place in the International Dance Talent Competition Italy Finals in Mesagne, Italy; Best Teacher Award in the Asian Ballet Competition, and many more.
