Ballet Teacher

Ms Joey started her ballet training early; her driving passion and natural aptitude for ballet enabled her to attain straight Distinctions for all her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Graded and Vocational Examinations as well as the Commonwealth Society for Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) Ballet Intermediate level with Honours.

Ms. Joey has been in the ballet teaching field for more than 8 years and has rich experiences working with kids ranging from 2.5 to 16 years old. Ms. Joey had also trained Soloists to compete in various professional dance competitions such as Star Canaan of Dance, World Ballet Grand Prix, Masterpiece International Ballet Competition, Youth America Grand Prix and more. Her dedicated coaching had produced multiple award-winners and enable them to get scholarships opportunities. In 2023, Ms. Joey received the Best Choreographer Award and Outstanding Teacher Award at the International Arts Festival Competition.

Ms. Joey hopes to continue to nurture and inspire more talented dancers with her strict yet passionate teaching.
